Trattoria Da Lina Italian restaurant located at 7000 Carroll Ave, Takoma Park announces that it is finalizing plans to expand into the adjacent space, currently home of Magico, operating as Dolci Gelati, which is now closed. This light-filled corner space will feature a new entrance, a large bar and cocktail seating.
Owner Marcello Minna will introduce new cocktails, an expanded wine list and a separate light bar menu. The space will also be open for lunch daily.
In addition, Minna plans to activate the building’s vintage bank teller station to create a take-out window for ice cream, frozen yogurt, coffee and desserts. A new outdoor patio seating area is planned for dessert enjoyment.
Target Spring 2018 opening.
Note: Chef Gianluigi Dellaccio is exploring new Takoma locations to serve his award-winning Dolci Gelati gelato.
