OTBA General Meetings
Administering your Web Page on the Main Street web site
Thursday, March 11th 10:00 - 11:30am ~ March 11th, Meeting location will be announced here.
This meeting will focus on Administering your new web page on the Main Street Takoma site. It is intended to provide a good working overview of how to administer your own page including uploading photos, adding email and hyperlinks, and updating content via a vey easy to use interface.
The web page is a benefit of membership in the Old Takoma Business Association, but if you just want to have a page and not be a member you are welcome to come also! There is a nominal hosting charge for the year for non-members to take advantage of this great opportunity to show off your profession and skills, so please join us to learn more!
Networking Events
Monthly Business Social - come out and unwind with your fellow business folks in the area! Catch up on the latest news enjoy good food and drinks!
All socials start at 7pm and go until folks are done! Drop in when you can, after you close the doors, on your way home and enjoy good food and company.
- Tuesday, March 16th ~ Meeting at the Olive Lounge, located inside the parking lot at the corner of Willow and Carroll Avenue.
Special Training Sessions / New Web Page for Members
Administration of your new web page on www.mainstreettakoma.org - a brief overview of how to adminster your pages and the benefits to the business and the community.
If you are unable to attend a training please contact Pennye and we will try to arrange a time to review or schedule a new meeting.
Board Meeting Schedule
The Old Takoma Business Association meets the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6 - 8pm at the OTBA Offices. Any member can request to be on the agenda by contacting the OTBA office: (240) 253-4229

Attend a Main Street Committee meeting & help your Main Street!
We have four standing committees:
- Design, which works on the physical appearance of the area;
- Economic Restructuring, which focuses on business retention and recruitment;
- Promotions, which seeks to highlight local businesses to the broader Washington area, as well as create events and activities that bring people to Old Takoma;
- Organization, which provides the structure for the whole organization and the work of the other committees.
