Strayer College - Undergraduate and graduate programs in high-demand fields such as accounting, business, education, health services administration, information systems, and public administration are available at this campus.

Washington Hospital Center - Washington Hospital Center is the largest private hospital in the nation’s capital. The Hospital Center was founded in March 1958, when three specialty hospitals merged to form a single institution. Greening Your Community
Community Forklift -We’re lifting up communities with low-cost building materials! At our very large warehouse, you can donate new and used building materials to receive a tax deduction, or you can purchase materials at prices that are 40% - 80% below retail. Located in greater Hyattsville, Maryland, we serve the Washington DC metro area. We are a project of Sustainable Community Initiatives, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

We have four standing committees:
- Design, which works on the physical appearance of the area;
- Economic Restructuring, which focuses on business retention and recruitment;
- Promotions, which seeks to highlight local businesses to the broader Washington area, as well as create events and activities that bring people to Old Takoma;
- Organization, which provides the structure for the whole organization and the work of the other committees.
