Crossroads Farmers Market Opening Day!

Crossroads Farmers Market will kick off its 17th Season on Wednesday, April 26, with the ringing of bells at 10:30 am sharp by staff members, funders, public officials, and other supporters. Crossroads offers the season’s freshest fruits and vegetables, as well as free-range eggs, honey, locally roasted coffee, healthy snacks, and fresh-cut flowers—all from no more than 50 miles away.

Since 2007, Crossroads Farmers Market has been a lively community hub and a critical food resource for those in and around the Takoma/Langley Crossroads community, essential for the livelihood of local farmers and a source of healthy food for 1,000+ residents each week who rely on SNAP, WIC, and other federal nutrition benefits. While increasing access to fresh and healthy food for those in need, Crossroads Farmers Market is also building a more equitable and sustainable local food system that benefits everyone.
