Our mission is bringing together businesses, residents and community organizations dedicated to developing a vibrant market center, from the Takoma Junction, Maryland, to the Takoma Theatre, DC, to enhance our unique and historic town setting. Your donation will go toward promoting local, independently-owned businesses, sponsoring concerts and other events, buying flowers for the Old Takoma area, recruiting and retaining businesses, and much more.

Opened in 1982, the Takoma Park Farmers Market was the Washington area's first Sunday market and an early pioneer in the "producers-only" movement. Today it is thriving. Come and support your local farms!
Everything sold at our market is fresh and local -- produced by the people who sell it.
