Bodil Meleney, Master HerbalistJoin us at The Big Bad Woof for an informal meeting with our herbal consultant, Bodil Meleney. She will be on hand to talk to you about well care for yourself and your favorite companion!

Bodil P. Meleney, RH(AHG), CH, RPP is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, (TCM) and Qi Therapy. Bodil's specialty is specific individual formulations. With her background as a Registered Nurse she has decades of experience in the health field. Bodil uses diet/nutrition, herbal therapies, energy based bodywork, supplements, exercise, dialog and education as well as adjunct therapies; flower essences and homeopathy.

We have four standing committees:

  • Design, which works on the physical appearance of the area;
  • Economic Restructuring, which focuses on business retention and recruitment;
  • Promotions, which seeks to highlight local businesses to the broader Washington area, as well as create events and activities that bring people to Old Takoma;
  • Organization, which provides the structure for the whole organization and the work of the other committees.
