Going Green on Main Street
For more than 40 years, efforts to help businesses go green have focused primarily on the corporate giants, but there are exponentially greater benefits to transforming the millions of traditional small businesses on Main Streets around the country. In his article Small Business, Big Benefits by Kevin Fletcher, The Executive Director of Audubon International, he brings home points about how we ALL stand to gain in protecting the planet by having our small businesses have Green practices, from using less energy to using bio-friendly cleaning agents etc.
